We had a few foundation repair companies come out before we started the project because we thought there was some sinking in a corner where the crawl joins a slab. We were told then it was only visual and they could see no settling. At that time there was no cracking of drywall. Estimates were still given, however, and the price of about $10K for a corner! I don't have much money, I refinanced for this addition because the house it too small for my 4 kids.
