Thanks for the advice, Lori. I did go to Home Depot and get the Ralph Lauren Tea~stained glaze as Kelly Hart recommended (which has an umber pigment to it) - it looks like it will be perfect. My cabinets are not painted at this time but I was hoping I didn't have to prime them first since I was going to distress them anyway? I did plan on sanding them first so the paint (cream)would adhere well to them. Do you really think it's necessary that I prime? I would appreciate any feedback.........Thanks
