My den is a yellowish gold color now. I would like to make the room warmer, more interesting and a little bolder by sponging a color over this base. I think if I go with a lighter shade it will look boring and too pale. What other color could I use over the yellowish-gold to get the effect I want. My furniture is tan leather and the carpet is a green and tan print. Thanks.
