Hi Lori, Thanks for the info. I will be going to Home Depot this weekend so I will ask if they recommended putting some kind of "sealer" over "aged or antiqued" cabinets that have a glaze on them and I will let you know what I find out on Monday. I won't do anything to mine until I ask them about priming first. I was going to clean the cabinets with TSP first and then put my "cream" paint on, sand some edges ~ then the glaze. I just didn't see why I would have to prime since I definitely want an aged/distressed look too, I'm not worried about the occassional "ding" on them either................I'd rather do them right the first time though! so I'll definitely listen to what they recommend.........
