Our appartment countertpos were painted by a "professional" just before we moved in and it has been a complete nightmare! Everything of color that is spilled or even set on them gets absorbed. These stains do not come out. I have no idea what kind of bacteria they harbor either. Our manager sent the guy out to see the problem and his solution was to use sandpaper and rub them out! I prepare food for my 2year old daughter and I can't even imagine how dangerous this is. We are still fighting to have them replaced but is there anything I can to until then to keep us safe?
