I bought the maytag washer and dyrer when it first jumped on the scene in 1998. My first problem came in October 2003. The unit wouldn't spin causing the mother board to burn out. I had it replaced and now, the machine takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete a wash. I'm still having the Maytag man to visit for this one problem. One more visit, I may get a new one at no charge.
