Can anyone give me advice on what to do on installing a wood floor in my living room and hallway... What I am not to sure about since we are leaving the carpet in the bedrooms is cutting the carpet and installing the runners/ threshholds or whatever they are called that secure the woodfloors and the carpet when the two come together.
When the carpet is cut do
I have to install a carpet tack?
And......
Should the Threshhold be installed right under the doorway... Or just outside the doorway?
Also.... I really do thank you for any advice you can give me!
