We had a slow leak and replaced the flapper--still leaked. We replaced the flush valve after discovering that it was cracked. We also bought a new seal, gasket and bolt assembly. Now our toilet doesn't leak inside the toilet, but leaks out the bolt holes onto the carpet! We used the rubber washers that came in the assembly kit and tried to tighten them not real tight and tried tightening them alot. Both ways left us with water dripping. We can't tell if it is coming from the bolt assemby or the flush valve we replaced. Can you help us?
