I have a problem wiring a 3way switch in my home. I have a stairway that has a switch at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top to control turning on/off the light. my original switch malfunction & I can't get the new switches to work. I have two black wires and one red wire. I can get the bottom switch to turn the lite on and the top one to turn it off, but
if i try to get the bottom switch to turn the lites on again, it doesn't work. What's wrong?
