I to had a leak in a 12 month old Kitchen Aid, I had a service person out and nothing was found. He did say that if a bowl was put on the bottom it could have deflected the water under the door. Being aware of this I have not had the problem again. I purchased this make because we were very happy with the one in a previous house. I paid $800.00 cdn and 16 months later had to have the whole wash system replaced. The system was under warranty and the rep waived the labour fee.
