you must be thinking of "Slap Her Down Again, Paw" by Arthur Godfrey, where you actually hear him beating the woman IN THE SONG. What makes it so mind-blowing is that the song is unbelievably catchy and you will find yourself singing along in horror by the end of it. It's on The Best of Arthur Godfrey as well as this Hillbilly novelty CD that I bought at a truckstop in Arkansas (that I wish I had on me now, sorry). Beware, however, as I have only seen two kinds of reactions to this song and, believe me, you do not want the second one.
