What is going on with yhe new ACQ treatment of wood? Is it as corrosive as we are being lead to believe, or are the fastener mfg's blowing it out of porportion in order to sell higher profitable items? What type of nails are framers using to connact studs to treated plates? Is it a buyer beware market now?
I am curious as to how pro contractors and remodelers are adressing the issue and to what extent the building officials are changing codes in order to protect the consumers from problems down the road.
