Rennovation/restoration of an Art Deco Theater Posted by Kent L. Allison on January 10th, 1998 01:13 PM
To whom it may concern, I want to first take the time to say how much I enjoy your shows! You have an excellent line up of informative and educational programs. I watch with every chance I get. Thank you for your efforts of putting together such programming. The reason I am writing is I am currently looking for organizations, like yourselves and like programs that would be interested in following the rennovation/restorarion of an Art Deco Theater that was built in the late 1930's. This era of entertainment was and is a nostalgic and memorable period in our history. I would appreceiate any information that might be available on companies or organizations that would be interested in looking at my project and airing a week by week look at its progress. If for no other reason, to provide information to the general public of the history of Art Deco Theaters. My plans involve transforming the theater into a dinner/movie house running 1st run movies. I encourage any input you may have to offer. Thank You! Sincerely, Kent L. Allison 3392-2C Peppermill Dr. Lafayette, IN 47906 765-497-1175 kent@kallison.mdn.com
