I have two large double hung windows 5' x 6' and the top sash seems like it doesn't close completely and the sash locks do not lock easily. The top sash is not flush with the bottom sash when both are closed. I already checked to see if there is something in the sash or jamb preventing it from closing all the way but everything looks fine. Is it possible that over time the top sash has expanded due to moisture as these windows are 54 yrs old. Thank you in advance.
