Its correct that none of the manufacturers give their best products to Consumer Reports. Because in fact they dont give any products to them. Every product tested is purchased retail exactly as any consumer would obtain them. Further, I've read past CR paint reports, seemed to me they went into pretty thorough explanation of their procedures.
