I have a crack in my basement taht the builder is obligated to fix under my new home warranty. It is a poured basement, and the crack is vertical about 2-3'from the floor up. I am lucky because there is already sump pumps installed in all the homes in my area and the crack leaks into the pit. I would still like to know the best way to fix this crack so I am able to have it fixed by the builder once and never again. I would guess the best way is to dig outside and fix on both sides? What product is best for this application in Canada?
