I think it may be time for a new one in my case. Of all days for it not to work, it has to be today when I have an interview. The door last month has been acting strangely. It will open about 2 feet before stalling. I adjusted the force up settings. That seemed to work but now this morning the darn thing won't budge. You can hear the motor working.
The door system was put in here in '87. I had the torsion spring replaced in '97 because it had cracked. The spring looks fine. Any suggestions other than buying a new system?
