I just bought a new house (built in '74) this week. When I had the home inspection done, the inspector recommended adding plastic and insulation to the attic. Right now it just has blown-in insulation, level with the top of the boards. My question is, what thickness (or mil) plastic should I use? Also what would be the proper way to install it?
