I don't have a new one ready to put on. I'm just trying to get suggestions as far as either putting on a plastic cap on the one I have, or is it better to replace the plastic one now, with a ball valve? I hope it doesn't snap off and flood my garage when I'm not Home. That's a 40 gal water tank. lol
