I have lots of dark green wallpaper in my kitchen and dining area. I have taken down a border before and it was almost impossible. This is a not a vinyl wallpaper and has been on for almost 19 years. I want to go to a lighter color but worried that a coat of primer and possible 2 coats of paint would be too much over paper....any suggestions??
