.. looks like the wife had 60 watt bulbs in the chandelier. Not so bad if I only had 6 bulbs but I have 12 !! no wonder the rheostat is very warm, even though we rarely use full light. - Now I know why - 720 watts to light the room, wow ! Looks like 25 watts should be more than enough for a 12 lamp chandelier.
