I didn't know what to do either when we purchased ou sink a year ago. I was at Lowe's and the prices were close to the same amount, so I bought the Kohler. I got the white one they had in stock. They actually had 2 or 3 Kohler sinks in stock that were white and I got the one that had the wider corners on the upper corners so you can soak handled pots or pans in it. I love my sink and haven't had any problems with it. I believe the price was only $15 dollars difference. The Kohler looked nicer too. American Standard is also a very good company, so if you get that one, I'm sure you will not be disappointed. Hope I helped.
