We bought a house where the previous owners put up wallpaper on the top half of a fairly large dining room (over paneling), a border in the middle, and painted the paneling on the bottom. I would like to remove the wallpaper and paint the entire wall. Is that possible? Is there a way to remove the wallpaper without damaging the paneling? They did a bad job of hanging the wallpaper, using lots of little strips here and there to "patch" so it doesn't seem like a good idea to try to wallpaper over it because it is peeling in quite a few places. Any advice? What's the best method for removing the paper? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
