I just wanted to compliment you on a very well written and helpful answer to Erwin's problem. The michaelholigan page is a nice one and I wish I had seen it before laying my first laminate floor, especially the note about acclimating the panels...I knew that about real wood, but didn't realize it could make a difference with the laminate flooring.
