I don't know why not. The worst that can happen is that the furniture pieces will put a strain on the glued joints. I wouldn't use snap-together laminate; that would be asking for trouble.
Visualize our situation with glued laminate: It is in the family room and down the hall, a total of about 25'. Then offset from the hall line is the kitchen, another 10' with a fridge on top of it. We see no joint separation at all.
