We are contemplating the use of Duration paint in lieu of stain on our 10 year old cedar sided home. How long was it been around? If it has only been around a few years how do we know it will last a lifetime or at least 15 years. I am concerned about peeling or chipping. Any tips on making the paint dealer and contractor live up to their part of the warranty, specifically the labor warranty since the paint warranty is minor in cost comparatively.
