There I was driving down a local street and I saw a Maytag washing machine in the garbage. It looked new, so I knocked on the owners door and asked them why would you throw out such a new expensive machine ?,, He told me that the door lock did not work. Well I knew I fix something like that, so I loaded in the van and took it home. Now I am the proud owner of a free Maytag Neptune washing machine that probably has a bad door locking motor and or a bad control board. I would like to fix it, but after reading all these stories on the net about this machine, I wonder if it is worth it. However, since I got the machine for free, maybe it is. So I am looking for information on how to fix, I am handy and have fixed many appliances in the past. Is there anywhere I could get the parts at a discount, or do you know if a schematic of the control board is available anywhere? Thanks for any help you can give me. Was this post helpful?
