You can recolor them. We just did ours w/ the help of this webpage and it looks amazing! We went from pink tile to pure gloss white.

You prime with Zinnser (staing killing Bulls eye primer), and you paint with an "Epoxy-based" paint. It will take a while to dry, but when it's done, it's amazing.
