Sears lists an "Antennae Extender" in the parts catalog for the 1/2 HP unit. They claim that sometimes a metal garage door will interfere with the signal. I'm tempted to get on ( about 35 bucks I think)..
Also, the guy at the Sears store said the sensors may be misaligned....but I don't buy that....in my opinion, if the sensors are not lined up, the thing simply won't work at all.....
