I am an architect. And in looking on the internet for different types of composite deck materials and aluminum deck railing systems I got on this site. I am so happy I found this site before I too fell into the unhappy, very upset situation I have been reading about. I am getting ready to replace my own home deck. And Trex was recommended by my builder. But after all the comments I have read I will not be going down that road. So I would like to hear from someone who is happy with a composite type of deck material or composite deck materail with vinyl in it. Has anyone used something they have found to be good and maintenance "free"? This is what everyone is looking for, isn't it? Also I would like to install a new alumimun railing, what has anyone found in that catagory? I too need deck materials which will not mold or stain, warp or fade from the direct sun! I would like a light grey color also. All responses would be greatly appreciated. What a wonderful web site for the consumers out there. Please everyone, keep talking about problems and solutions so everyone will be better off!!!
