The cracks are probably from normal flexing & settling, like I said this can take a while until the setlling is completed. I am living in a house that is 25+ years and I had a new crack appear last year above a big bay window on the second floor. You can have the builder come back and repair the crack, but this may also be an indication of a larger problem where the doorway span isn't supporting the gable above it.....not likely, but possible.
It can't hurt to call the builder back, and have them look at it. It's just too hard to tell over an email conversation.
