color ideas for kitchen cupboards

I have dark wood cabnets and we are thinking of painting them. Our floor is white with small diamond shaped green design. The wallpaper is white with ivy design. The border is white with yellow and gold panseys and ivy. Appliances are white. Wood trim around windows and door is medium oak. Any suggestions for a color for cabnets? Thanks
