I have owned lopi pellet stove for 2 yrs and found
long pellets are a problem. They pile up like a
logjam and end up to far away from the ignitor. The
smaller pellets tend to fail only once a day and
are bunched up at back of firepot. When this happens just turning switch off and on restarts it.Rarely does the firepot overfill, but if it does you MUST OPEN UP THE DOOR AND CLEAN IT OUT
OR YOU WILL GET SMOKE.
Also long pellets break the auger as you can hear it creak and groan.Short pellets are
delivered with no such noise.
