Does changing the landscape of a house often cause new ways for water to enter basement. We bought an old house in June dug up some shrubs and plants in the front yard of our new house. Then in August we got alot of rain, next to the wall where we had changed the landscape water came pouring in our basement. The old owners swear that it never leaked there before but we have a hard time believing them.
