I am aware of that- thank you very much but that is why this forum is here. Why is it that Ridgid not only gaurantees there power tools for life but has the manuals and information at no charge and sears can't do the same? It is the manual not the mashine I want.
My personal feeling on your answer is this. You are not convincing cutomers , such as myself , that you are trying to help and stand behind your products-after all what is wrong with downloading PDF* manuals.
I have purchaced tools from craftsman and then when it came time for help or service - it's all these fees and charges. I am not saying I wan't things for free, But so many companies out there are starting to offer better warranties and better service.
If Sears changes there attitude and takes there tools more seriously and who is buying them - Maybe-just maybe you will win some of our respect again and we will come back.
Oh - and by the way- your sister company that makes your motors-"Emerson" is the same company that is producing Ridgid power tools. No I had a few parts that I needed-the claps for the field board-and they sent them out to me-I expected to pay for them and they said that as long as it was under a certain amount that they could "work with me" - That is all I want from the people I buy my tools from-Quality and fair service. Hope you heed my advise.
