You got a manual for no charge. Then YOU lost it or threw it out. How in the world do you equate selling manuals to a lack of service. Btw nearly all appliance and durable good manufactures sell replacement manuals, hardly no one just gives them away to anyone for any reson. And yes, YOU DO JUST WANT THINGS FOR FREE. That is the whole basis of your ranting. One more point, Craftman does guarantee its products for a reasonable limited time. Only a fool, or provider of very low quality, or very over-priced equipment, would guarantee a power tool for liftime. Unless it is a gimic to draw market share. Consider all the abuse they take. Now I am wondering why you have such a regular need for a service department. I guess not knowing what your doing or abusing your equipment. I am a professional carpenter for 20 years and have NEVER had to take any power tool in for service. Maybe cause I use them as intended, do not overload, clean them up when done, and store them in a dry place out of the weather. I have thrown away a power tool before. It was a 15 year old daily used skill saw. It basically wore out after feeding my family for 15 years, can't complain about that. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
