Hi
I recently bought a 220VAC, 100amp welder. When I got it home, it had a special 110VAC plug that fits my generator only. The directions say that the 220VAC plug was intentionally not wired and that I would have to have it wired to local codes for 220VAC single phase. I looked inside and there are 3 wires. One hot, one return and one ground. Will I have to get some kind of converter? Did I buy a really cool looking paper weight?
Thanks in advance Dick Howe
