Help. Landlord/friend is willing to let me decorate kitchen but wants countertop to stay. I can paint everything even the cupboards which are now ok as is in a med/dark wood. window woodwork can even be painted, now is a med wood. the outside door to the kitchen also needs painting and is metal with 3 windows. I'd like to put in cafe curtains as neighbors are close. Do you have any docorating theme suggestions for me? I thought about Mediterranean/Tuscany but don't see any orange counters in all the pix I've looked at. Any other suggestions or would Tuscany work with an orange countertop? tnx.
