The siding on my house, which has been identified as pressboard, has numerous areas of warping and possible rot. We have recently had a problem with carpenter ants which is currently under control but I'd like to discontinue the use of the pest control services. What are my options as far as repairing and/or replacing the siding? I am a traditionalist and like the idea of wood siding but also live in the South where moisture, heat and termites are rampant. My house is predominately brick with the siding on the upper half of three sides of the house.
