I wish someone would answer this one. I wanted to remove my popcorn ceiling, but then found out it has asbestos in it and it would be expensive and dangerous to remove. My ceiling currently has several cracks in it due to earthquakes and I would love to just cover it up with beadboard or use Armstrong ceiling planks. Is this a reasonable alternative?
