finding dead mice before the smells

I put mice/rat poison all over the house and they have eaten just about all of it. But how do I find the dead mice before the house smells like year old decaying humans? I have looked everywhere I can think of and have found 3 mice just laying there. I live in Orange County and am plagued by an association. If any neighbors smell the dead rodents, the association will definitely condemn the house. Please help!!!
