Well, it still requires effort, but what i've found to be far less energy and frustration intensive is to use a tool to score the paper first, with the perforations no further than about an inch apart when the room is completely done. Then, I'll use a paper stripping product (there are many available), though usually a gel based product to soak into the perforations and do most of the work. While you may need to reapply a couple of times, it certainly saves time for the most part over things like steamers, etc. Just be dilligent however in scoring your room well first..! A little extra attention to this step can really be key in getting the desired end result!
