I have a 70 year log cabin about 700 sq ft. It was origanally built without an actual foundation. I believe it sits on cedar posts over a fairly sandy loom soil. The west side has subsided signifacantly over the years and the floor has a bow, up to 2 1/2 inches across 5 ft . The door only opens 45 degrees and has been trimmed several times. I would like to jack it up using 4 jacks over the span of 25 ft then set in cement posts (4 total). Any advice you can supply would be appreciated like how far up can I raise it over what course of time? Ways to measure how much I moved it up? ect...
Thank you much, Mike Cartner
