I've read the messages. Can anyone tell me what type of paint to use, what prep work is involved, and should it be sealed with a coat of something? I did ask our local paint store and only got to the first quesion and was hit with a No, No, No to painting an in use brick fireplace, But I'm not into orange brick. Hurry we'll be moving soon.
