What is the safety issue? Many people have microwave oven fans that vent back into the room. I suppose there is some type of filter in them, but did the buyer mention a safety issue? we have a 1 story house and the fan vents between the joists and through the roof. that's pretty simple as long as you feel comfortable cutting through the roof.
