Harold, thanks for the reply. I have photos posted at http://users.lighthouse.net/jgimpel/ to show basic installation. As far as depth of concrete used I believe was 1.5 inches, just enough to cover the tubing. Walls had a double base 2x4 plate to allow for additional thickness of cement floor. I can see in the entry why the cold spot exists. Thank you.
