Belt Drive, Or?.....

It sounds as if you may have a belt drive from your fan motor to the fan blower wheel. The belt may be slipping and causing the squeal. If that is the case, you may be able to stop it by spraying some belt dressing on it (available at auto supply stores) However, it is a temporary fix and the squeal will probably return. You may need to install a new belt and adjust it tight enough.
It is also possible that you have bearings in the motor that need to be lubricated on an annual basis. If you are lucky, addig the lube will solve the problem. Check the owners manual and the instructions that should be on the inside of your blower door.
