Squirrels and my Weeping Wilow

A couple of years ago I planted a Weeping willow tree. The problem I'm having is squirrels climbing to the top of my weeping willow and chewing the branches from the tree. How do I stop them from doing this it is destroying my tree. Thanks. Cindy
