I am going to applying a cementous acrylic resin
based plaster to a slick cement surface.
The substrate is 120 years old, interior.
On top of the slick cement substrate I have
silver paint epoxy or something. Also 1 wall
has a clear coat or sealer over the cement.
The plaster I am using is Velnova mixed with
20% portland cement. Also I am using the bonding
agent for the Velnova. Velnova is an Italian
cementous acrylic resin based plaster.

What should I use to prepare the slick cement
walls? Sand, rough up, then degolsser?

Thanks Vallie
