I have purchased a 6 person hot tub. The weight when full is 4000 lbs. without people in it. I want the deck just high enough for the 2x10 to be above the ground so I imagine the top of the deck being about 14" as I will put it fiberon boards on top of the deck. I only want the deck 8'x8' as the hot tub is 84"x91"x38". Are there any plans out there please that can show me where I should put the supports in the ground? How many? etc... I am new at deck building and am very capable of doing the work. I just want to make sure the deck will hold all of the weight on the hot tub. thank you to all that help
